Our Guarantees

We buy our merino wool from selected farms in Tasmania and New Zealand by ZQ Merino.

Sheep that produce wool for Aclima have five basic freedoms.

Freedoms from:

- Freedom from thirst, hunger and malnutrition,

- Provision of appropriate comfort and shelter,

- Prevention, or rapid diagnosis and treatment of injury, disease or infestation with parasites,

- Freedom from distress

- Ability to display normal patterns of behavior.

ZQ Merino is only sourced from accredited friendly farmers who meet the highest on-farm standards. The ZQ Merino programme has been developed to provide customers with certainty that product quality, animal welfare and health, environmental, economic and social values are positively addressed. ZQ Merino growers pride themselves on best practice, and are accredited to ensure the highest on-farm standards with respect to animal welfare, farming practices, and environmental management.
